Even if at some point in the year you decided not to go into a science-related field, there are many reasons to keep working in chemistry.

(1)                      It is an excellent way of keeping your math skills sharp.

(2)                      It makes you a more informed consumer and gives you a better understanding of environmental issues.

(3)                      It challenges your imagination because so many of its concepts are abstract.
