Education Professionals Week is November 18 to 22

The theme of this year's Education Professionals' Week, November 18 to 22, is “Shining a Light on our Educational Universe”.
Professionals provide student assistance, pedagogical support and administrative services. They help build a generation of students who are well educated and well prepared for the future. Through their daily work, they make the school an organized, pleasant place to live and work. Education professionals have a positive impact on the school environment.
There are 10,000 professionals, members of the FPPE, who reach out in many small and large ways every day to students, teachers and principals in elementary, secondary, adult general and vocational education. Professionals include guidance counsellors, psychologists, pedagogical consultants, archivists, spiritual community animators and speech language pathologists. Every professional plays an essential role in school success. Let's recognize the invaluable work of public education professionals and say "thank you!"
Elementary School Registration Week

Elementary School Registration Week for the 2025-2026 academic year will take place from February 3 to 7, 2025. If one child from a family is already enrolled in a particular school, a sibling registration period will take place a week earlier.
Parents are asked to register at the EMSB elementary school nearest their residence offering the French program of their choice.
Please refer to the EMSB website for additional information regardingthe eligibility requirements for English public schoolsand how to register your child in an EMSB school.
