If you have a Certificate of Eligibility
- If your child is currently enrolled in Grade 6 at any of the following elementary schools, please complete all forms in the application package given to them at their elementary school (distribution of packages occurs during the month of September or October) and return it to your child’s elementary school following the reception of their Term 1 report cards in November. LaurenHill will receive all application packages directly from these elementary schools:
- Carlyle
- Cedarcrest
- Coronation
- Dunrae Gardens
- Gardenview
- John Caboto Academy
- Parkdale
- Sinclair Laird
- If your child is currently enrolled in Grade 6 at an elementary school not listed above or is currently enrolled in High School and wishes to transfer to LaurenHill Academy for the upcoming academic year, please pick up an application package from LaurenHill Academy (Junior Campus for Secondary 1-2 registrations; Senior Campus for Secondary 3-4-5 registrations) and return it to LaurenHill Academy following the reception of their Term 1 report cards in November.
All application packages must include:
- Certification of Eligibility for English language instruction
- Birth Certificate showing the names of parents and child
- Copy of student’s latest report card
- Course Selection Form
- LaurenHill Academy Information Intake Form
- Proof of Canadian Citizenship if your child was not born in Canada
- Proof of Residence if your child is born outside of Quebec
- Immigration documents such as work permits or study permits
If you do not have a Certificate of Eligibility
In order to qualify for English Instruction in Quebec Public Schools, students must meet certain eligibility criteria under the Charter of the French Language as set out by the Quebec government.
